4th Time Here - Love It!
We absolutely love this resort. This was our 4th time here and we are seasoned travelers that look for the best overall experience. This place doesn't disappoint! We love our swim-up room, located right off from the main pool, so we can be watching all of the activities and entertainment from our room! These rooms come with a butler, which makes the whole experience over the top! Our amazing butlers are Marie and Cliefin. They go over the top to ensure our comfort and happiness! We even keep in touch all year! The bartenders are extremely friendly - especially Santana and Rafi. The casino host, Luis, is awesome. Great holiday just the bad coffee.
Left on March 9th from Ottawa to Punta Cana on airtransat Ottawa airport as usual very easy. Flight better than usual lots of room on plane. Airport arrival as usual very busy but didn’t take long going through customs etc. Hard time finding bus to take us to hotel when we did find it had to wait 1 1/2 hrs on bus before we left. Not a good start. Took about 1 hour drive to hotel. Check in was fast no problems. Room spacious and very clean. Nice view from balcony. Looking onto lazy river and we could see the ocean. We were on 3 rd floor but there was an elevator, unfortunately we are not young anymore so that came in handy. Grounds are very well taken care of very clean always employees working outside. Lazy river was fantastic family used it every day only complaint people would take tubes with them so nobody else could use them. Very inconsiderate. Would advise to take your own. The beach is clean and lots of loungers available although mornings could be difficult. Drinks were delivered to you on beach by very friendly staff. There is a lagoon next to the hotel which was very nice use at your own risk. Entertainment was the usual not great but they do try hard. Kids loved the bowling alley. The food is ok have had better a little disappointing. But lots of variety. Ala carte .. forget the steak house we tried for a week and unable to get in. Blue moon was the best. Good food delicious. Japanese the usual but was good. The rest were good no problem getting in. Coffee was terrible. Been going to Mexico and D.R. For about 20 years and this was the worst. Terrible. They do have a coffee shop Mikes. Coffee not much better. Staff are great very friendly. Always an ola. All in all was good stay no snow just a few irritants. Best 3 day getaway!!! Stunning ! Punta Canta did not disappoint !!!
We stayed an amazing 3 days !!! The people, music and swim up room was breathtaking! Our butler Roberto was AMAZING and very attentive to our needs. Our food, towels, Drinks, and over all stay He made sure was perfect and paradise! We will absolutely be back and we can’t wait to see our friends at the presidential club Bartender Carlos who made the best drinks! Carmen made the best swim up Drinks! The night life, the music, The beautiful beach front ! I will absolutely be back!!! Definitely worth our stay and if you’re looking for PARADISE this is IT!!!! Me cancelaron el vuelo, así que tuve que pasar la noche en el hotel. Me atendieron muy bien, el servicio fue excelente, me llevaron las maletas hasta la habitación y el minibar estaba muy completo. A stay to remember!
Absolutely amazing resort, beautiful property and super staff who are all welcoming and friendly! A special shout out to Diamond, Joseph, Manuel, Esther and the breakfast team in trade market who put a smile on our face every day. Special mention to the head chef in scena for curating a wonderful tasting menu on the 7 regions 7 flavours Republica Dominicano - this was special! Yanette was the sweetest!
Our stay started out a little rocky as I wasn't feeling well and I got sick at the pool bathroom. Resort employee, Yanette helped me by cleaning up my mess, getting me something to drink and advice on what to do to feel better. Every day after she made sure to check on me and make sure I was feeling better. Everyone at the resort was very nice and helpful. The best all around: relax in Exhale, relive the 80’s, and more. There is variety of dinning experience's. No complaints. 100% the best resort. Yimmy John the absolute best Butler. Come enjoy!
